Why DCMO

 Youth within the target service area face increasing exposure to risk factors that contribute to negative outcomes, including:

• Chronic absenteeism and academic disengagement
• Behavioral health challenges, including anxiety, trauma, and emotional dysregulation
• Lack of structured supervision during after-school hours
• Exposure to delinquent peer groups and community violence
• Limited access to positive, skill-building recreational opportunities
