About DCMO Florida

DCMO (Don’t Count Me Out) is a forward-thinking youth intervention and prevention initiative built to change outcomes before they become consequences. Rooted in the belief that every young person deserves structure, opportunity, and a real chance to succeed, DCMO exists to interrupt the pathway into the juvenile justice system and replace it with a pathway toward purpose.

At its core, DCMO is a Day Treatment and Prevention model designed for youth ages 10–18 who are at risk of system involvement, struggling in school, or facing environmental and behavioral challenges. Rather than waiting for failure, DCMO steps in early, providing structured daily programming that combines education, behavioral support, life skills, and mentorship in one unified approach.
